About Mahadbt Scholarship 2020-21

The Maharashtra government has come up with a portal through which they provide Mahadbt Scholarship to all of the students of the Maharashtra state who are not able to pay their fee because of its high rate. Also, an online portal has been designed so that the students no longer have to visit the concerned government office to avail the benefit of the different scholarship which are available for them. There are different scholarships present for different types of students and different types of categories and religion of the student.

Eligibility Criteria For Mahadbt Scholarship

The family annual income should not exceed INR 8 Lakh. The candidates belonging to the general category and have taken admission are eligible to apply. The applicant should not avail any other scholarship or stipend. The courses which students have enrolled in should be approved by the government or AICTE. The students should not have had 2-year of the gap during their course. The students must have given all semester examinations.

The
students from class 11th & 12th class are eligible to apply.
The
students should have a DHE sanctioned letter.

The applicant’s son/daughter/wife/widow of ex-servicemen are eligible. The students should be enrolled in government-aided colleges only. The Maharashtrian Students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.

The students must have graduated in degree courses of Law, Commerce & Arts with at least 60% marks and in Science with at least 70% marks. The annual income of the applicant’s parents should not exceed INR 75000. The applicant must be a resident of Maharashtra state. The beneficiary should not do a part-time or full-time job. The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.

The applicant must be a resident of the Maharashtra state. The applicant should have secured at least 60% marks in class 12th. The applicant should be a domicile of Maharashtra. For professional courses, the applicants who are children of registered labour or Alpabhudarak or both are eligible. The annual income of the family/ guardian should not exceed INR 8 Lakh. The applicants should not avail any other Nirvah Bhatta benefits. The applicant should attempt every semester or annual exam.

For the current academic year, only 2 children from a family are allowed to avail of the benefits of the scheme. The total annual income of the family should not exceed INR 8 Lakh. The minimum 50 % attendance in the previous semester is required. During the course duration, the candidate should not have had a gap of two or more years

Panjabrao Deshmukh Vastigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna (DTE)
The applicant should be an Indian national. They should be a domicile of Maharashtra state. The applicant should belong to VJNT, OBC, and SBC category. The applicants must be pursuing the education course approved by the government. The annual family income should not exceed INR 1 Lakh. The applicant should apply for the scholarship via the CAP system. The applicant should achieve 75% attendance for the current year.

The applicant should belong to VJNT category. The applicant must be resident of Maharashtra state. The annual family income should not exceed INR 8 Lakh. The students enrolled in degree courses in Health Science etc. are eligible to apply. The freeship will be applicable to students enrolled in unaided or aided government colleges in technical education. The students who are enrolled in courses such as Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries are also eligible to apply.

The applicants should belong to Vimukta Jatis, Nomadic Tribes, and Special Backward Classes. The applicant must be studying in class 11th and 12th in junior colleges. There is no family annual income limit. The students should not have a study gap to avail of this scholarship.  The applicants must be residents of Maharashtra.

Matric Scholarship to OBC Students
The applicant should belong to the OBC category. The applicants must be pursuing education courses approved by the government. The application should come via CAP round for professional courses. The applicants need 75% attendance for the current year.

Panjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Maintenance Allowance
Hostel maintenance allowance up to INR 3000 per year for students pursuing courses in Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur and Aurangabad and INR 2000 for students in other locations. Students whose parents are registered labour shall receive INR 30000 per year for regions such as Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, and Aurangabad.

The following documents are required while applying for the Mahadbt Scholarship transfer scholarship:-

  • Income Certificate (Provided by Tahsildar)
  • Cast Certificate.
  • Cast Validity Certificate
  • Mark sheet for last appeared examination
  • Mark sheet for SSC or HSC
  • Father date Certificate(if required)
  • Hostel Certificate (if required)
  • CAP round allotment letter
