Reva. Workers in the cement manufacturing unit led by the Cement Mazdoor Ekta Union (CITU) camped in the MP’s house over their calls for. During this, he put his varied calls for in entrance of him. Earlier in-situ activists demonstrated at the Collectorate premises and submitted a memorandum to the Collector.

According to the data, the CITU staff reached the Collectorate earlier in the afternoon on Tuesday, the place they gave a memorandum shouting slogans. In which, earlier than the lockdown, all the laborers working in the firm had been demanded to be withdrawn to work, to pay the stalled wage of earlier months and to cease the switch of staff.

All the activists together with CITU District President Girjesh Sengar, Vice President Vidyashankar Muflis, Ramakant Tiwari, Ramnaresh Dwivedi, Rakesh Singh, Ramakant Pandey, CB Thakur and Amit Sohgaura reached the residence of MP Jardan Mishra and laid siege. On which the MP took a memorandum of their calls for and talked to the Collector and warranted them to rent staff.

During this time, CITU President Sanger stated that if the staff who’re fired usually are not taken again to work even after the intervention of the MP, then there shall be a fierce agitation.
